To make a potato tornado, all you need is a spiralizer or a sharp knife, some potatoes, oil, and seasonings. Here's a step-by-step guide to making the perfect potato tornado: Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Step 2: Wash and peel your potatoes. Using a spiralizer or a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into long, thin strips, twisting them into a spiral shape as you go. Step 3: Insert a skewer into the bottom of each potato tornado, making sure it goes all the way through. Step 4: Brush the potato tornadoes with oil, making sure to coat them evenly. Fresh Turmeric Pickle | कच्ची हल्दी का आचार


Ingredients :

  • Fresh Turmeric - 400 - 500 gms
  • Ginger - 50-70 gms 
  • Lemon -  2 medium 
  • Mustard Seeds ( Rai )
  • Fenugreek Seeds ( Methi dana) 
  • Fennel Seeds 
  • Mustard oil - 200 ml - 300 ml ( or as req ) 

Making /  Method

Peel off Fresh Turmeric , peel Off Ginger using a knife and 

Now Chop turmeric and ginger in Small size or any shape as you like to have your pickle. once chopped both the things wash it well. 

Also cut 2 lemons to be used afterwards.

You Can roast 3 Ingredients ( Fenugreek Seeds, fennel seeds and Mustard without oil ) and then Grind it Into A Powder and now Add it to Mustard oil. ( Optional )
 
Or You can just 

take a Frying pan or kadhai, Add Mustard Oil 100 - 150 ml , 
you can also add additional oil afterwards when required, 
add mustard seeds and roast it, 
add Fenugreek Seeds ( methi dana ) , 
add Fennel Seeds ( sauf ) and roast it for 1 -2 minute. 
Now turn the flame low 
and 
add Fresh Turmeric and Ginger and saute it well. for 1-2 minutes and turn the flame off. 

Now add 2 pinches of salt. 
Lemon Juice ( of 2 Lemons ) 

lets transfer it to a bowl and let it cool down, ( keep it Closed and rest for 2-3 days ) 
you can store it in a Glass or Ceramic Jar & You can store it in Fridge upto 3-4 weeks.
