Here's a step-by-step guide to making the perfect potato tornado: Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Step 2: Wash and peel your potatoes. Using a spiralizer or a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into long, thin strips, twisting them into a spiral shape as you go. Step 3: Insert a skewer into the bottom of each potato tornado, making sure it goes all the way through. Step 4: Brush the potato tornadoes with oil, making sure to coat them evenly. Gobi Ke Parathe | गोभी के पराठे |

Ingredients :

  • Cauliflower 
  • Wheat Flour 
  • Salt To Taste
  • Water to knead Dough
  • Cooking oil - 2-3 tsp 
  • Crushed / Grated Ginger
  • Green chilly - 2 pc
  • Garam masala - 1 tspn
  • Dry Mango Powder or Chat Masala - 1 tspn
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp 
  • Cumin Seeds - 1-2 tspn
  • Carom Seeds - 1 tspn 
  • Asafoetida - 1 tspn
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste


Making /  Method

Take A bowl or dish ( to knead a dough ) - add wheat flour , add salt to taste and mix it well , now add water and knead a soft dough. 

Apply little cooking oil and make the dough smooth. ( Give it a good massage ) 
now keep it aside for rest - 10-15 minutes

Now take a bowl or dish , take a grater and grate the cauliflower ( medium ) 
now squeeze out the water from the cauliflower
use a kitchen cloth , transfer the cauliflower in a kitchen cloth or handkerchief , squeeze out the water. 

Now transfer it back to the bowl or dish , lets prepare our stuffing now. 

add crushed / grated Ginger , add green chilly 1-2 pc ( chopped ) , add Garam masala - 1 tspn, 
add Dry mango powder or chat masala - 1 tspn, Add red chilly powder - 1 tspn , add cumin Seeds - 1 tspn , add carom seeds ( slightly crush it with palms ) and now add asafoetida - 1 tspn , add Coriander leaves and mix all the ingredients well. 

finally now while we are about to make our parathas - we will add salt to taste. you can also add extra kashmiri red chilly powder or any spices you like.  and mix it well, now our stuffing is ready. 

Lets Prepare Our parathas. 

Take a medium ball sized dough , flatten it using hands ( medium in middle & corners - thin ) 
now add the Filling / Stuffing - 1-2 tbspn in middle of the paratha and Fold it ( like a Round closed ball ) . 

Flatten it with hands and Now Flatten it with hands so our stuffing will spread out well ( use maida or flour on both the sides and flatten it , now finally use rolling pin and flatten the rest of the paratha. 

You can keep it thick or thin as per your requirement
Point to remember ( you can fill the stuffing ( quantity ) as per requirement )

Now lets make our parathas 
heat tawa , place our paratha on pre heated tawa ( med flame ) roast both the sides for 1-2 minutes and apply ghee / oil or butter ( as per you choice ) , roast both the sides as per your desired texture. 

Our yummy buttery paratha is ready to serve add extra ghee or butter. 
this paratha is crispy outside and soft inside. 

Serve it hot with - Curd , Mixed Pickle or Tea and Papad. ( as per your choice )
