A Popular Breakfast Recipe - Also Known For hashed Browns - A well known English Breakfast
Basically This Recipe Is based on Main Ingredient i.e Egg But - Don't Worry About it.
You Can Prepare it As A Veg. Dish or A Non-Veg Dish As Well
( As Because without Adding eggs you can Enjoy the Super Delicious taste of hash Browns too ) :
There Are always many alternatives when we talk about Any Cooking Recipe and We can modify it in our own way. So here i am explaining you the Egg recipe but along with the ALTERNATIVE of Eggs - Exception of eggs too.
Lets Begin With our Crispy And Delicious Recipe Hash Browns.
Ingredients:

Potato - 3 medium

Ice cold water - 1-2 bowl
-
Grater ( thick ) - to grate potatoes
-
Egg - 1 Big ( you can skip if you don't want to add egg ) ( use 2
tbsp water instead )

All Purpose Flour - 4 tbsp
-
Onion - 1 medium ( finely chopped )
-
Grated Cheese - 1 cube
-
Green chilly - 1 finely chopped
-
Grated Garlic - 1 tbsp
-
Salt to taste
-
Black Pepper powder - 1 tspn
-
Coriander leaves - 3/4 bowl
-
Red chilly power - 1/4th - 1/2 tbsp ) ( as req )
Making / Method
Take a dish , add ice cold water - 1 bowl , take a grater and grate the
potatoes - 3 medium , ( we are using ice cold water to remove the starch
from potatoes )
Grate add the potatoes , now wash / rinse the grated potatoes properly , you
can see the starch ( separated )
Now strain it out and take a kitchen towel or napkin and squeeze out the
water completely.
Now transfer the potatoes back into a clean dish. add Egg - ( 1 medium ) (
Optional )
Now add All purpose flour - 4 tbsp
add chopped onion - 1 big
add Grated cheese - 1 cube
add Green chilly - 1-2 ( finely chopped )
add Grated garlic - 1 tbsp or 5-7 cloves
add Salt to taste
add Black pepper powder - 1 tspn
add Coriander leaves - 3/4th bowl
add red chilly powder - 1/4 to 1/2 tbspn or as req.
Now mix all the ingredients well. ( keep it Soft )
Now take a frying pan heat oil and make our hash browns ( shallow fry in
less oil on low - medium flame ) Fry / roast both the sides for 4-5
minutes each. you can roast it using very less oil or you can shallow / deep
fry it. ( as per your choice )
Make it crispy as you like.
IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN AVOID EGGS AND MAKE IT SIMPLE
Our #hashbrowns are Ready to serve now.
Serve it hot with Tomato & Chilly Sauce or ketchup or green mint
chutney.
Also try Salad along with this recipe. ( chopped onion , cabbage and
tomatoes )
