Here's a step-by-step guide to making the perfect potato tornado: Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Step 2: Wash and peel your potatoes. Using a spiralizer or a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into long, thin strips, twisting them into a spiral shape as you go. Step 3: Insert a skewer into the bottom of each potato tornado, making sure it goes all the way through. Step 4: Brush the potato tornadoes with oil, making sure to coat them evenly. Red Chilly & Tomato Chutney | Spicy Recipe | Ready To Serve With Starters, Dosa & Snacks

Tomato chutney is a type of chutney, native to the Indian subcontinent, prepared using tomatoes as the primary ingredient. It can be prepared using ripe red tomatoes or green tomatoes.

How many calories does one tbsp Tomato Chutney have? One tbsp Tomato Chutney gives 31 calories. Out of which carbohydrates comprise 8 calories, proteins account for 2 calories and remaining calories come from fat which is 20 calories.


Ingredients:

  • Tomato - 3-4 Medium
  • Onion - 1 Big 
  • Red Chilly - 12-15 Cloves
  • Garlic - 12-15 Cloves
  • Salt To Taste
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Lemon Juice. 
  • Red Chilly Powder -  1-2 tspn ( Optional ) ( As per you need ) ( Only if you like more Spicy )



Making /  Method

Apply Cuts on tomatoes to boil it well ( need to be peeled off  later ) , lets boil tomatoes and red chillies for 8-10 minutes and cover it with lid, also keep stirring after every 2 minutes. now turn the flame off and take out the tomatoes and keep it aside for 1-2 minutes till cold. 

Now peel it off ( peel the tomatoes ) and mash it well. 

now take a cooking pan or fry pan , heat oil ( 2-3 tbsp ) , add Garlic Cloves , 
And roast it for 20-30 seconds , now add roughly Chopped Onions , add mashed tomatoes and add all the spices ( salt , turmeric powder and red chilly powder ) 
and cook it for few minutes ( 3-4 minutes ) on low-med. flame. 

Now Add Red chilly Cloves ( i.e Boiled previously ) , add lemon juice and saute it well and cover it with lid for 1-2 minutes. 

now turn off the flame and let it get cold. 

now transfer it to a mixer jar and grind it. 

lets add tadka / tempering ( roast cumin seeds and mustard seeds ) and add to our chutney. 

Our Fresh red Chilly and tomato Chutney is ready to serve.
