To make a potato tornado, all you need is a spiralizer or a sharp knife, some potatoes, oil, and seasonings. Here's a step-by-step guide to making the perfect potato tornado: Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Step 2: Wash and peel your potatoes. Using a spiralizer or a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into long, thin strips, twisting them into a spiral shape as you go. Step 3: Insert a skewer into the bottom of each potato tornado, making sure it goes all the way through. Step 4: Brush the potato tornadoes with oil, making sure to coat them evenly. Sindhi Doda Recipe | Bajre Jo Dodo | बाजरे का डोडा | سنڌي ڊو ڊو

Sindhi doda is the special authentic dish of sindhi cuisine
which is commonly preferred in breakfast by sindhis that can be served with
pickles, curd , tea or green chutney. 
( typically it is made of bajra flour / millet flour )

Note The Ingredients:
  • Millet Flour - 1 & 1/2 bowl ( bajre ka aata )
  • Chopped Green Chilly - 1-2 
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves - 2-3 tbsp 
  • Chopped Green Garlic - 1-2 cloves 
  • Chopped Onion - 1 big 
  • Chopped Fenugreek ( hari / fresh methi ) - finely chopped - 2-3 tbsp 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Water to knead Dough 
  • Ghee or Oil 
  • Curd , green mint chutney or tea or pickle ( For Serving ) 

Making /  Method

Take a dish or bowl to knead a dough - add Millet Flour ( bajre ka aata )  - 1 & 1/2 bowl , 
add chopped green chilly - 1-2 pc,  
add coriander leaves - finely chopped - 2-3 tbsp , 
Add green garlic - chopped ( hari lehsun ) , 
add chopped onion - 1 big ( crush it slightly using hands ) , 
add fenugreek - ( fresh methi - finely chopped , 
Add salt to taste , 

add ghee or oil - 2 tbsp and mix all the ingredients well. 

Now Add lukewarm water ( semi hot ) and knead a medium soft dough. 

Take a tawa - apply ghee or oil - spread it using a tissue paper and now take a big ball shaped dough 
flatten it using your hands and put it on tawa now use 3 fingers and water to flatten the doda and spread it well till possible. 

Now roast both the sides for 2-3 minutes each. flip the sides and apply ghee or oil ( as per your choice )  


Point to remember - you can also apply cuts using a knife or karchi as to spread / apply ghee into doda well. 

Now After 5-7 minutes our Sindhi Doda is ready to serve. 
You can serve it with Curd , pickle or Green chutney or even with Masala Tea.
